08/17/26 Understanding the generationally diverse workforce |
![]() |
In this workshop we will also have a generationally diverse question and answer session to help us gain insight into the values and perceptions of individuals we work with.
Course Description: Workplace demographics now span four and sometimes five generations. The 22-year-old new hires can find themselves working alongside colleagues who may be older than them by 50 years or more. The 60-year-old employee may find their supervisor to be 30 years old. How do you relate to employees of different age groups? How do you engage someone older, or younger, than you? How do you tap into the knowledge and talents of each generation? In this session, we will:
In this course, you will learn to:
- Discuss the difference between the generations and how those differences impact work
- Spend time “Understanding the different generations at work with a focus on the youngest workplace employees, Generation Z, and discuss “Are we really all that different?”
- Learn how to reap the benefits of an age-inclusive work environment
- Understanding the way, we work together, engage our talents and capture the knowledge of all generations is not always easy, but it is critical for organizational success.
