ADA, FMLA & Workers’ Compensation: Understanding the Basics
Join us for an informative session covering key updates and foundational concepts related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Workers’ Compensation. This one-hour class is designed to provide municipal professionals with a general understanding of these important employment topics, including recent developments, common challenges, and practical considerations.
Participants will gain knowledge they can take back to their municipalities to help support consistent, informed decision-making and better navigate employee leave, accommodation, and workplace injury issues. Whether you are new to these topics or looking for a refresher, this session offers valuable insights and opportunities for discussion.
Presented By: David P. Pierce is President and Chief Executive Officer of Coolidge Wall, where he provides strategic leadership while continuing his practice as a Shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment Departments.
