1.Program Series Deadline – Weekly Series programs need to be submitted to Master Control by no later than Noon, the day before it is scheduled to air to ensure MVCC staff have ample time to prepare the program and put it into the schedule. If we do not receive the program by the deadline, we will either rerun an earlier episode or cancel that week’s show.

2.Single Program Scheduling – In order to be scheduled, each program must be submitted to Master Control with the required (“Request for Cablecast” form) signed by the Producer. Any single program that is turned in with paperwork is not guaranteed to be scheduled within the first two weeks from receiving the show.
• This means that any program(s) that are to be eligible for awards (e.g. The Philo Awards) and must be aired on one of our channels by the deadline for entry, need to be submitted by no later than two weeks prior to that deadline. No exceptions.

3.Filling out Forms – The correct title of the program being submitted must be on the form exactly the same way that it appears on the Title Graphic of the show (either at the beginning of the show, or anywhere else that it may appear).

4.During a calendar year, if there are three instances where producers that use MVCC equipment (cameras, edit suites, and / or studio) for a program, and that program does not air on one of the PEG channels, the producer shall lose, for a period of time as determined by MVCC staff, the right to produce any additional programming.

5.Staff “Producers” for Volunteer Programs – Staff members are fully responsible for turning in a volunteer’s program and / or series in a reasonable amount of time. This is especially true if they are editing and turning in their show(s).
