12/11/25 MVRMA LTAP Snow and Ice Control Training

 

Thursday, December 11th, 2025 12pm to 4pm

This 3-4 hour class provides employees and managers with an overview of snow and ice removal responsibilities, preparation activities, winter maintenance operations, and weather basics. The class will also cover choosing deicing materials and material application rates, and the factors considered when making these decisions. Different types of snow and ice removal equipment and how they are used will be covered. Safety considerations will be discussed throughout the class, from material handling to equipment operation.

When: Thursday December 11th at the Blue Ash North Fire Station (10647 Kenwood Rd. Blue Ash, OH 45242)
Time: 12:00pm – 4:00pm (each session)

Cost: FREE Presenter: Gary Browning, CPM, Training Manager and Safety Circuit Rider for the Ohio LTAP Center. His background includes over 30 years of experience in Public Works. Gary earned his Road Master Certificate in 2012 and earned his (CPM) Certified Public Manager from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, OSU in 2014.
