The Santa Call-In Show Returns for its 40th Anniversary! Watch LIVE on December 19th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Television viewers throughout the Miami Valley have one more free family-fun holiday event to mark on the calendars, when the live Santa Call-In show returns for one day only, Sunday, December 19th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. For the first time in the show’s forty-year history, this program will be shown simultaneously on four cable channels: Channels 5, 6, 21, and 991 for Spectrum subscribers, and Channel 99 for AT&T subscribers. The program will also stream live at www.mvcc.video and cablecast live with the City of Dayton’s Access Television station, DATV.
Since 1981, the Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC) has been honored to host Santa Claus and his team of elves as they visit the MVCC studio for this special occasion. Santa Call-in gives children the opportunity to talk live with Santa by calling MVCC’s phone number at (937) 438-8887. Santa’s assistants will help callers while they prepare to speak on the air. Santa’s television show will also be accompanied with holiday scenes from around the Miami Valley as well as Zoom visits and music.
The Miami Valley Communications Council operates four cable access channels with cable providers Spectrum TV and AT&T TV. Complete program schedule listings, as well as on- demand viewing, can be found at www.mvcc.video. MVCC was formed in 1976 as a council of governments representing the eight member cities of Centerville, Germantown, Kettering, Miamisburg, Moraine, Oakwood, Springboro, and West Carrollton.
