MVCC will begin production on the 2009 high school sports series, the third season of the MVCC High School Football Game of the Week, starting August 28th with Alter versus Fairmont. Viewers can watch eleven weeks of high school football coverage of their local teams, with recasts through the weekend and following weeks. Four girls Varsity and Jr. Varsity volleyball games will also be covered this year.

Centerville, Fairmont, Miamisburg, Oakwood, Valley View, Springboro, and West Carrollton are the featured teams among the schools represented. Games will be recorded live on Friday night, but won’t premiere until the next day on EATV channel 21.

The playback schedule for a football game will run like this: 
• Saturday at noon
• Sunday at 2pm
• Monday at 8pm
• Thursday at noon

The MVCC Game of the Week football season is produced by MVCC Government Production Supervisor Carl Suchomel, and Interactive Media Instructors Karl Bremer and Laura Hutchens.
