VOLUNTEER!

Being a volunteer is a great way to be involved in your local community, and the City of Miamisburg has an active volunteer program. By joining the City of Miamisburg team, volunteers gain opportunities to make a difference in the Miamisburg community.  Opportunities exist to meet new people, learn new skills and sharpen existing ones. The Mayor and City Council encourage citizens to get involved in the community and use their experience and skills for the betterment of Miamisburg. 

CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Main Switchboard Operator – Answering & transferring telephone calls to the City’s main switchboard.  This position may also provide assistance to the utility billing staff, as needed.  Position available Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• Mail Room Attendant – Sort & distribute mail to various City Departments.  Position may also deliver mail to external locations on a limited basis.  Position available Monday through Friday mornings, after mail delivery by US Post Office.
