WHAT TO WATCH: CHS Mock Crash Print E-mail

The City of Centerville, the Centerville High School Mass Communication Class, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Centerville News Network and the Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC) present Centerville High School Mock Crash 2009, a documentary of the April 29, 2009 dramatic presentation for the students of Centerville High School. This mock car crash set on prom night shows kids what can really happen when they make the wrong decisions.

Centerville High School Mock Crash 2009 features a behind the scenes look at the preparations involved for the event, police and fire crews dealing with the emergency on the scene, auto extrication, and interviews with safety officials such as Centerville Police Officer Matt Dunn. Mary Curtis, who lost her son in an accident, tells her story for viewers.

Centerville High School Mock Crash 2009 was produced by the Centerville High School Mass Communications Class with teacher Traci Hale-Brown, and developed in partnership with the Centerville Police Department, Washington-Township Fire Department and Miami Valley Hospital.
