MVCC offers a class for volunteers. We have staff on hand and information online to assist volunteers in their productions. Volunteer producers are required to take the TV Production class, then to volunteer on a production to earn equipment check-out privileges. They can gain further skills by producing a show in our studio.

Through franchise fees, MVCC is able to provide state-of-the-art equipment to all of its producers, from those who create the simplest, single camera documentaries to full-fledged, live studio productions. As a council of governments, MVCC is able to give our member city residents better equipment and training than eight small, independent centers could.
