RESERVATIONS
Reservations are on a first come, first served basis. All fees listed are subject to change. The full deposit is due at the time the reservation is made. The deposit, or portion thereof, shall be returned within 14 business days after the use of the facility ? provided that no damage occurred and all rules were followed. These facilities are jointly owned and operated by the Village of Germantown and German Township. For additional information or to make reservations, please call (937) 855-7255.
The Depot
Located in Veteran?s Memorial Park at 75 North Walnut Street, the Depot is actually an old train depot that was moved to this location in 1990 from East Center Street. This facility has both heating and air-conditioning to accommodate year round usage. The Depot can hold as many as 100 people, so no party is too big or too small.
No alcohol is permitted. Tables and chairs are available on site. Restroom facilities and a kitchenette are also provided. Reservations are typically made at least two months in advance.
Veterans Memorial Park Shelter
Located in Veteran?s Memorial Park at 75 North Walnut Street, the shelter is a perfect place for childrens? birthday parties or a cookout on a nice day. The shelter has a playground located adjacent to it and is within walking distance of the Germantown Municipal Pool.
No alcohol is permitted at the shelter. Picnic tables and benches are available. Restroom facilities are located within the shelter.
Kercher Park Shelter
Located in Kercher Park on Astoria Road, this shelter is a perfect place for ?after sporting event? parties. Kercher Park has baseball, soccer, basketball and tennis facilities to be enjoyed by people of all ages. The Twin Creek bike/hike trail also runs behind the park and allows easy access to the downtown area via Main Street.
No alcohol is permitted at Kercher Park. Picnic tables and benches are available at the shelter. Permanent restroom facilities are not available.
Gazebo
Located in Veteran?s Memorial Park at 75 North Walnut Street, the Gazebo is a picturesque location for wedding ceremonies. The park surrounding the Gazebo allows for plenty of space to set up chairs, tables etc., for whatever special plans you might have on your wedding day.
No alcohol is permitted at the Gazebo. Tables and chairs can be obtained by calling 855-4510. Restroom facilities can be used in the Municipal Building, which is adjacent to the Gazebo.
Senior Citizen Center
Located at 33 North Cherry Street, this recently dedicated building can accommodate large parties, receptions, etc. Built in 1999, this facility has ?all the comforts of home,? including meeting rooms, full kitchen facilities, audio-visual aids and even an upright piano for all your musical needs.
The Senior Citizen Center is available by calling the center at (937) 855-4191. No alcohol is permitted. Tables and chairs are provided at the center. Restroom facilities and full use of kitchen are included.
