18. Joseph Tice House

The original one-room stone cottage (north portion) was built by 1814. Joseph Tice purchased the house in 1836. Tice was a stone cutter by trade. He cut and shaped limestone for some of the buildings in Centerville. He built a stone addition to his house in 1836. Two more additions were added making the house U-shaped.  See more information on our stone houses.
