20. Clarence Nutt House

32 E. Ridgeway Dr.

The land at the corner of E. Ridgeway and Maple was reserved by Aaron Nutt for his own use and remained in his family for 170 years.  The frame house was built in 1908 and is the third building on the site.  It replaced a log cabin and a two-story frame house, homes to Aaron and his son Joseph.  The current house was built by Joseph's son, Clarence, and was home to his son Lawrence until 1970. It is now owned by the Cross Point Church and is used for offices, meeting space and reference library.
