President, Board of Directors, Dayton Historic Society, 1998 Statement to Citizens: As the only current member with past experience on the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Planning Commission (including five years as chair), and also as a former and current Council Member, my focus has and will remain on strategic planning and growth for the economic and the residential development of our city. Some people look at a glass as half empty, others as half full; I prefer to inspect the glass. How we maintain our positive qualities and traits, how we manage new ideas and limited resources, and how we manage change and improvement for the best interest of our neighborhoods and business/industries, is my goal in order to help ensure the future economic and social viability of West Carrollton for our citizens...tomorrow as much as today.
