1. Magsig Middle School

192 W. Franklin St.

 

In 1924, the school board consolidated the high school and the nine one-room schoolhouses and moved all twelve grades into this new building seen above. It was called the Washington Township School. Over the years, it has had five major additions and has also served as a junior and senior high school. It is named after C. W. Magsig, a prominent citizen and former school board member.
